It works great, my bedroom is 300 sq ft so this is just perfect, the remote works well. One thing I want to say is that you do not have to have a double hung window to use this a/c, I have a side slider window that is 48 inches so the half that slides is 24 inches and the a/c is only 18 inches wide so it fits perfect, I just put it in the window and slide the other side of the window up against the unit and turned it on.
It works really well, I am in Arizona and it is very hot this time of year and this keeps my room very comfortable and I like my room very very cold.
